We have returned to worship as a community in our church, and would be pleased to welcome you.  If you would like to join us via our live stream, please use the link above to access the Highfield Road Uniting Church, YouTube channel.  Alternatively, you can worship in your own time, using the provided Order of Service and Sermon.

Worship is at the heart of Christian community; worship in contemporary language that is joyful, relevant and reflects the long traditions of the church. We embrace both traditional and new ways for participation.

Our worship service is open to all.  Face masks are not mandatory but may be worn, if you wish.  (click here to view our COVID-19 policy)

Engage- Sunday 9:30am

There are many styles of worship. This quarterly all age service offers a way for everyone to connect with the themes and ideas of the day in small activity groups. These groups create items for use in future services.

Worship Services

Examine & Coffee- Wednesday 2pm

This informal midweek service examines the text and examines ourselves through conversation about the day’s scripture and prayers. Come and join us.  This is a great way to reflect or connect with God in the midst of a busy week.  Our gathering is often via Zoom and sometimes in person.  Either method allows us to enjoy coffee or tea and a friendly chat afterwards.

Our MInister will happily provide you with details and materials for use each week.   minister@highfieldroadcanterburyuc.org.au

Children and Worship – 9:30am

The sound of children and babies in our congregation is most welcome, after all, Jesus said “Let the children come to me”.  We have a dedicated space and resources at the front of our pews and in our foyer.  Both areas allow the family to be part of the service.  Where you decide to sit is your decision so please know that you are welcome anywhere.

At the moment we do not have a regular Sunday School but our dedicated, and eager teachers are ready and resourced to explain and teach God’s word.  All that is required is your expression of interest for your child to be involved.
